Alfalfa in the South

UGA Extension hosted a workshop entitled "Alfalfa in the South" on March 17, 2015. The workshop was held at the UGA Livestock Instructional Arena (2600 Milledge Ave., Athens, GA). This workshop focused on how to successfully interseed alfalfa into bermudagrass. Subjects covered included: site selection, establishment protocol, soil fertility, and harvest management. The workshop also included a grower panel to hear how other producers are using alfalfa in bermudagrass across Georgia and the Southeast (see full agenda).
